Though Mario sounds like the best, if you really want to learn how to drive, go to driving school. There is nothing wrong with not driving but it is a useful skill to have in the event of an emergency. As you've already found, driving doesn't come naturally to most. My very first time behind the wheel, my father took me on a major highway and told me to drive 55. Let's just say that I couldn't comfortably drive if he was in the car for the next 20 years. I have never been that uptight in my entire life. Whereas the driving instructor made it all seem easy.
Yes, actually -- we've been talking about driving school and I'm committing to finding a school once I'm back in Tacoma. The lessons here are just so that I get a feel for the basics. My father has tried teaching me in the past ... which was awful. He meant well, but he was so ansty and high-strung that it only made me even more nervous tan I already was. As for Mario, yes, he's a good man and a brave, brave soul LOL
