fabrication using rubber casts?

Does anyone have any experience with making rubber casts? I am trying to find an inexpensive product to use to fabricate a lot of small statues that I have collected and wish to use in my artwork.

If anyone has any advice or ideas, websites or forums to point me to that would be wonderful!

If you're just looking for tutorials on HOW to do mold making, Freeman Manufacturing has a pile of tutorials all over the place. Most of it's geared towards their products, but a lot of it generalizes to most of the other stuff on the market.

So.. If somebody really recommends a brand, or you can find it locally/ cheaper/ in small quantities at a craft store, go that route.
