Two days in the life...
... of an MBA student. I've rounded out my first week back in my second term, and should there be anyone reading, I thought I'd share what my last few days were like.

I've settled in for dinner, and I like to catch some TV (of a sort) before diving back into work. I'm here in the last week of my first term, handing in assignments, making presentations, and having some swan song lectures, where we can look back over a course and reflect a little.

I got back from a graduate winetasing and dinner just now. It's been some time, and thus seems fitting to touch on my relationship with the three entities that make up my educational experience. Two weeks in, where has the time gone?
It's hard to believe, but two weeks in marks a quarter of the first term! (Yes, that means we have eight weeks of lecture, one week of review, and exams in week ten). With one term being a third of the degree, that means I am 1/12 done my program. That's some scary arithmetic ( Read more... ) -
A few phrases I've heard a lot of

There have been a few phrases I've heard repeatedly since the start of induction and orientation, which I thought I'd share:
"Don't Panic"

Today was my first long day. Though school doesn't start for another week and a half, I was taking part in a two day industry-specific "boot camp" session.
