:-( Right now I am trying not to be too worried... it seems to be a case of them laying people off and not so much LJ going bye-bye.

If you want to keep precautions, though, these are the things my flist is up to:

LjArchive, for saving entries (and comments apparently) to your harddrive.

ljsec, to move your entries to another journal.

I have my sights set on InsaneJournal, currently, as where I will be if LJ explodes. I'm thexwoman over there. I'm also purple_shoes at GreatestJournal if you end up there! And I got you on Twitter, so I won't worry about losing you to any post-apocalyptic online drama!
