Um, just yesterday, I fell up three stairs and did a face plant in the middle of the hall. Then I looked around to see if anyone saw and realized everyone in the hall was looking at me like I was insane. And then, I laughed to myself all the way up to the third floor.
007. If you could torture anyone and get away with it. Who would you torture, how would you do it (be creative!), and why? (If you say George W. Bush or Good Charlotte or any pop artist or actor/actress I will personally come to your house and pull out your toenails, or well, have someone do it for me because that's fucking disgusting, but you get what I'm trying to say here. We want people who REALLY should be slapped in the face, come on now.)
Whoever made www.truechristian.com. I would tape his eyes open and make him sit through two or three days of gay make-out scenes. And then I’d make him watch “Gigli”. And then I’d make him eat mustard and warm water and X-lax. This ridiculous site speaks for itself.
008. Who's one person you admire that has nothing to do with Green Day, and why.
Probably my best friend Debra because she isn’t really afraid of anything at all, and has saved my ass more than a few times. She likes what she like and doesn’t take shit. She’s selfless, and always helps people, just because they look like they need it. Also she pits up with her crazy-ass father. I’d be a bum on the street without her and she knows it.
009. What else are you into other than Green Day/music? I really like writing, even though I suck at. I guess it doesn’t count to say that I’ve been in the school orchestra band for three years playing flute. It’s weird, but I don’t really have a hobby- I just like to think.

Jack Astors- If it’s your first time there, they give you as much of this really good garlic bread as you want. The cream soda is awesome, and in the one near my house, there are Farside comics framed all over the walls.
A small little Sri Lankan restaurant near my mom’s work- you get these huge platters for next to nothing and they are so nice.

I don’t really want to think about that… um… probably Bon Jovi because theirs was the first rock concert I ever went to.

019.Name a couple of your favorite (non Green Day) music videos and why
I really like Beautiful by Thornley because it’s got a very good message about how people are using surgery as a solution, and turn, treating themselves like meat. It’s a really simple video- people (and cows) of all shapes, colours, ages and sizes, marked up in black, looking hesitant about going under the knife.
I actually do like the Christina Aguilera version too, because it also shows that everyone is beautiful. I love the fact that there’s a gay kiss in there, and that they weren’t afraid to show it. You can bash her all you want, but she’s still a good singer.
020. Best concert/show you've ever been to (that wasn't a Green Day show) and why? Bon Jovi, because it’s the only other show *hangs head in shame*. I was 10 and it felt so good to know all the words. Everyone else in the audience was singing too, and this one woman almost made me half deaf. It was amazing.
021. Met anyone from any bands? Tell us about your best/favorite encounter with any other bands.
I haven’t met anyone from other bands, unless you count local ones.
022. What band do you hate so much that you want to rip your arm off just so you have something to beat them with and why? 023. Worst show/concert you've ever been too and why? I’ve never been to a bad concert. Concerts are wonderful.

I really like the contribution that Michael Jackson made to music. No matter how much you hate him, people still sing to his songs and are influenced by them.

025. How long have you been a diehard Green Day fan? You are die hard, right?
A year and a bit. Since October 2004 or something.
026. How did you get into them? List the first song you heard, what made you decide you wanted to hear more by them, what was your first impression, ect... give us details, bitch.
American Idiot really got me into them, but the first song I ever heard was Longview. I was 4 years old and the chorus was just so catchy. I heard it on a MuchMusic program and was like ‘Hey! I remember that! THEY did that?’
027. Have you seen them live? How many times? Include a favorite live moment if you have seen them.
Just once. I have to say my favourite moment was during Holiday when Billie Joe runs a searchlight over the crowd. When they came to Ottawa, he looked at basically every section because the Corel Centre is so small.

Tre: Why did you start to wear eyeliner?
Mike: We know you get nervous before a show, but how do you feel after a show?
Billie: When you began to introduce your band members as things like “looks really good naked” or “on many (x8) pornographic websites on the internet”, did you tell them, you were going to do this, or was it a spur of the moment decision? How did they react?

I really hate the song ‘Green Day’. It has a horrible tune and the vocals sort of suck.

I love the sounds in ‘Bab’s Uvula Who?’. I think it’s ‘shit’ said really fast- so “sht!”

My Generation. It’s sounds like it was a blast to record, and it’s got so much energy to it.

It’s amazing. People are recognizing good music again.

I really like JOS because I can really identify. He’s a confused, fed up misfit, and I think everyone can relate to that- at some point in his or her lives.

Ego’s and Icon’s is pretty much all we get, but I really do like it. There are some hilarious interviews, from Dookie up to American Idiot.

No link. There’s one in ‘Ego’s and Icons’ where it’s just Billie and Tre. There are dildos in random places in the room. A combination of Billie hitting on him and Tre pretending to masturbate kinda freaks out the interviewer.

Tre- he has many good Zombie faces, and would probably love being able to remove body parts. Zombies can do that right?

Well I do all of the above.
I peed a little when they ran onstage back in September, and cried myself to sleep that night. My first girlfriend and I built our friendship on how much we loved Green Day.
My friends have gotten used to my excessive geekiness.
I was pissed when I first heard ‘The Angel and the Jerk’ because you can hardly hear Billie Joe.
FUNTIME WITH LISTS!

1,039 SOSH - Love their old sound, and Billie’s young voice. The songs are still catchy.
Kerplunk! - You can really see how they evolved. I love how laid back it is. The song writing is amazing.
Dookie - Firstly, ‘Coming Clean’ is awesome. This is my feel-good album. The lyrics are just so smart and catchy.
Insomniac - It’s got a lot of songs that triggered my memory when I bought it. It’s not hard to get into this album.
Nimrod - This is my favourite Green Day CD. It’s where it came from that makes it stand out. Especially songs like ‘King For a Day’, ‘The Grouch’, smarter, darker, more PG-13 themes imbedded in bright tunes. They really experimented with their music and that’s great.
Warning - This is also a feel-good CD. I love the sounds and different instruments they use.
Shenanigans - Even though it’s basically a bunch of covers and b-sides, there’s a really nice mood to it. The song ‘Desensitized’ really got me into it.
American Idiot -The way the songs relate to each other and the overall story. And probably the fact that they dared to do something like this at all.
043. Name your favorite music video from each of these albums and why
Dookie - Longview, definitely. It’s human and unflattering AND Billie ripped up his couch.
Insomniac - Geek Stink Breath. I like watching the tongue ring move around.
Nimrod -Nice Guys Finish Last- It’s so cute and energetic. Mike’s totally accidental fall was the highlight of it all.
Warning - Minority. Of course it’s Minority- I like the baton twirlers and Mike’s hat. It’s a really fun video. Oh and I like the snarl on Billie’s balloon thing.
American Idiot - Boulevard of Broken Dreams because it makes you think. I will always love the vocals and the whole scratchy feel of the video.

Billie;An otter- smart, playful. I don’t know if otters are good parents or mate for life, but I’m going to say they do.
Jason Freese; An eagle- definitely. Always looking wise and talented. And his nose reminds me of one.
Jason White;A really sweet brown retriever. He’s got such a calm, kind look to him.
Mike; A hyper sloth- he always struck as being a little bit on the outside looking in- but not that much.
Tre; A kangaroo- he’s always either in motion or causing motion. And because the first time I saw a kangaroo it was like nothing I’d ever seen, and neither was he.

One;Rudy’s Can’t Fail Café- of course. I’d like to see what kind of food they serve.

Don't beg and plead, it makes you look like a pathetic mortal.
I took the time and answered these questions to the best of my ability. Before I started listening to Green Day, I really had no music I could identify with. There was nothing I liked, nothing that sounded good, nothing that wasn’t the same as everything else.
Also I talk about them so much that my friends know not to bring them up.
