oh good god. james blunt. i'm so sorry you've been having to deal with that SONG. it just kind of "broke" over here (stateside) and the radio station at the coffee shop i work at plays it constantly and it makes me want to spill coffee on myself. ugh.

#44 made me laugh out loud. jungle book! classic.

you're our second 30-something applicant which i think is awesome and gives me hope that it's okay to still love a band THIS much (i'm 25 right now) while you're supposed to be an "adult" psh.

basically, yes! i like you. good luck. :)

"i'm so sorry you've been having to deal with that SONG"

Hunny, there are more coming and they get worse. I'm so sorry. We are waiting for the government to issue a public health warning any day soon.

To get around the thirty-something thing I remind myself that by the time Billie-Joe is writing about chronic arthritis and collecting his pension, I'll also be sitting in a comfy chair with a blanket over my knees, nodding smugly.

You're flippant, you're a bit cocky, and you're a fan over thirty. I like you.

Now imagine them all singing “Bear Necessities” from the Jungle Book. For this Billie-Joe has morphed from being a wise owl with a taste for speed into the small boy character.

I think I ought to stop now.

About that medication...

056. What is your opinion of Adrienne Armstrong? The woman probably has the patience of a saint.

This is the most honest answer I've seen yet to that question.

I don’t do extra credit, it takes all the fun out of winging it.

Hm. And I don't do it because I'm lazy. I like your reason better.

Too good for us? Peh. You're one of us. Yes vote.

Heh.

Re the jungle book thing, just be glad I didn't try and draw it.

And thank you.

Aww thanks. You know, I expected to be slated from the start for whatever reason.

Hopefully I'll still be around at the end.

That made me laugh till I cried like the little bitch that I am.

034. What do you hate most about non-asshole Green Day fans? I’ve covered this one

Maybe I just missed it, but I really dont think you covered that at all. And also, alot of your answers were like "I cant decide" or "Nothing comes to mind" That pisses me off. How hard is it to choose a favourite Green Day lyric?? Really.

You seem really awesome and I admire the fact that you've liked them for so long - and your attitude, you're very "in your face" I like that. Gees, this one is really tough.

Im gunna go with yes. You caught me in a good mood...Friday the 13th and all.

"How hard is it to choose a favourite Green Day lyric??"

Favourite is defined as 'most liked' or 'preferred'.

I think scanning (for example) 'Meth Amphetamine' with 'blowing off steam' is genius; 1) for originality and 2) for context; not only in that particular song but also for Insomniac as a whole. How can I rate that as more or less preferable to something like 'king of the 40 thieves and I'm here to represent the needle in the vein of the establishment' which still fits the song, fits the story and depicts perfectly the personal and professional evolvement of the band as a whole.

I don't prefer any lyric more than another.

Yeah, some answers got a lot more thought than others.

Thanks for the yes vote.

You made me laugh a lot! I especially liked the answer about Tré being a spider monkey. Classic stuff, right there.

But one thing: when you get accepted, you're gonna have to put up with the community's zombie obsession. We like zombies. Why? I don't really know.

Anyway, I really like you.

And Muse is amazing.
