what are the NME awards?

the NME likes to think it is the UK music press. it is read by lame radiohead fans that take its word as law. the NME is well known for being stuck so far out the strokes' arses that they literally come out the other end, and can control their movements. really.
they like to hype bands and ruin them. every year, after their awards ceremony, they like to put oasis on the front cover, regardless of them having done anything all year long.
I'd give the brit awards more esteem. I mean, look at the nominations.
