I hate going to funerals too.
THey make me uncomfortable, and I never know what to do or say. :-/

I actually avoid going if all possible. I don't do it to be rude, but it makes me uncomfortable.
I do go for people I'm really close too, however. Like a close family member. Otherwise, I just send a card or flowers or something.
