The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - ( Read more... )

Thank you so much. I don't want to go all Oprah on you here, but it's nice to inspire people to do something positive. This is terribly un-manly of me, but it really made my day when I check the old friends' page and saw this. Thanks.

And if you really want to go see a Cards game, there's a deal where they hold 225 pairs of tickets before the game for $11 (for the pair!). The catch is you don't know where you'll be sitting until an hour before the game starts (except the two seats will always be together), and, depending on how popular the match up is, you might need to be there to get in line pretty early. My wife did it and ended up ten rows from the field, which is pretty spectacular. I've heard for most games, like during the week, 7:00 in the morning is plenty early, but I certainly wouldn't want to try it for the Cubs series this weekend.

Anyway, if you want to go, and we can work out what day, I'd be happy to get up early and get the tickets.Reply

I can help you with 5 (I like travelling!), 11 (I've been wanting to do this, too!), 17 (We want to this summer.), 22 (I have an easil and a crapload of painting supplies and some blank canvases.), 33 (I go every year!), 35 (Well, what can I say...I like your company...), 36 (It's in my blood...and I have one right now!), 39 (Fun place....wear kneepads...), 42 (I also have supplies for this...damn me and my short attention span...), 56 (I've been wanting someone to do this with!), 57 (We have those four just down the road...and my entire wardrobe for 3 years was strictly thrift.), 58 (also a favorite hobby of mine), 82 (Hey, my craft show is this Saturday and Sunday!), 87 (well, I WAS a custom framer...), 94 (I just learned and I have one!)...

Of course...it's just offers abound. I'm sure a lot of this you want to do yourself...but it's a fun list and I encourage you completely!!!

Yeah I've had Ginger's sushi as well. I was thinking more like sushi from the Drunken fish or somewhere's. Like an actual sushi bar.

well we are going to the City museum tonight.. and I would recomend sushi either at Seki's on grand for that sushi bar atmosphere or sansui on Pine for some good sushi, or Nobus which is good, my sister says its hit or miss, but I've only had one bad day there in five years
