yo!  my super-busy semester is finally over. i have instantaneously switched from being so busy that i have no free time to having WAY too much free time.  now i'm working about 15 hrs /week. it sucks! but luckily i will probably be able to get another teaching job at the UW in the fall.

We have a vegetable garden too! I think there's peas, lettuce, tomatoes and something else I'm forgetting.

those flowerbeds in front are great! they make me wish our yard was on a hill.

we were lucky becasue the landscaping was all already done when we bought the house. i have no idea what i'm doing! but the hill is a bit of a pain for mowing the grass, so don't be too jealous :)

I missed this post, but I love the flowers, and your puppy is super super adorable! How old is he (I think you said he, right?)?

he is 9 weeks old! i don't have a name yet, but soon. its so hard!

i' am a little stressed about the flowers, cause i don't know what i'm doing. but i think i'll learn as i go. i just want it to look reasonably nice.
