I think Lorelei is selfish, too, but my big problem with that show is that I think all of the characters are really only fragments of one really neurotic person's brain. Nobody, absolutely nobody, on that show is laid back. Everyone has the same tendency toward over-verbalization of every little aspect of his or her life and well, I do enough of that on my own, dammit! (Um...but my detailed knowledge of the show tends to discredit my claims that I don't like it.)
