Boo! We're more a service Bureau or a Trade shop than a printer. Not a single press at our shop. We have large format printers though, but when I print art, I do it at home. Color isn't the greatest nor is the paper on our equipment. The paper curls and is twice as thick than a heavy magazine cover. It's also very expensive. I couldn't get you much of a deal nor do we have a way to make Transparencies. :( The other presses are most likely Archival plus you get the transparency and that's the way you really need to go. Make sure you get the scan on a disk if you go that way. So is that for just one print? How much is each print after that once they get the transparency and scan done?
There are other options. I have an 8 Mega pixel (10.88" x 8.16" @ 300dpi) camera and a 13" x 44" Archival printer. You can usually enlarge images to 120% (13.056" x 9.792") without loosing too much detail. I wouldn't go over that personally. Will this help you out? Is this to sell images at CDAF?
