I adore stories where the progression of a relationship is unhurried, almost sleepy; ones that are well done can be hard to find. This is wonderful.

I especially love that you ditched the 'ruthlessly but endearingly thoughtless Dean' trope -- that's just so boring and overdone. I like my Dean with a functioning heart that's connected to his brain. :) Because it is, dammit!

I really wanted this to feel as natural as possible, so I'm glad it didn't come off as boring or anything-that's one of the things I was afraid of, to be honest!

I HATE THAT TROPE SO MUCH. I view him as being incredibly emotional in canon and otherwise, BECAUSE IT IS OBVIOUS HE FEELS THINGS. Just look at how many times the boy cries! :P

I really enjoyed this; friendship and love isn't always some big huge epiphany, slapping you upside the head and making you panic. :) Reading Dean realizing that, and realizing what makes him happy is what makes his loved ones happy was wonderful.
