Realizing that as much as I like wearing clothes, it is damned near impossible to find any that I really like that I can wear. So, making a mental note to learn how to sew my own clothes.

If I could sew, I would buy a bunch of patterns from decades past.

That was totally the first thing I looked for, honestly. I love the look of the 50's and the 60's. Now, if I was creative enough (which I hope to be someday) I may take these patterns and incorporate a different bit of flair to modern up the timeless pieces.

I would absolutely LOVE to be able to design clothes to be of whatever fabric, color, and fit that I want. If my parents ever die, I might try it.

You should do it anyway! They don't have to know. Besides, you can start with underthings so that they wouldn't have to see them!

I have been given the advice to start with something easy, so I am going to try some shorts. You can make some under shorts and add your own personal flair to make them pop! That would be so cool!
