I found out from Father Iqus that I was actually deaged and not in fact returning to the Empire after a brief vacation, and... I was still young at the time, of course, and quite furious with everyone who had lied to me -- I took it out on one particularly good friend. He's not holding the outburst against me, at least. But... I recall that you'd promised you wouldn't lie to me, and you hadn't -- and... honesty is something I value.

Look, honesty's somthin' I value, too... But it's not a value I always get t'respect, 'cause in my line of work, honesty comes in second behind protectin' the secrets that let me do this kinda thing. But when I can, I will... An' it was no big effort t'make sure I told the truth to a little girl lookin' for answers.

So... I, y'know, appreciate the thanks, but still--they're not really necessary.
