If there's been improvement, it's minimal. I have been resting and taking plenty of food. I will require more hemoglobin pills, however.

[using her uninjured arm, reaches over and tugs open the drawer to her bedside table and pulls out a bottle of pills, tossing them to him]

Those were the pills I had been taking prior to Friday night's... incident. Is there any way to find out if they've been tampered with?

I had been taking the Life Water regularly since my arrival. For roughly a week, the Life Water had started to taste different. I assumed it was the water here, but I am starting to suspect...

Along with the odd taste, in retrospect, I noticed slight lethargy in the days before the incident. One possible conclusion is that the pills I was using were somehow weaker or otherwise less effective than the Life Water pills should be.

I spoke with another camp resident who mentioned... some kind of "aura" over this place, which is what has led me to believe the place itself may have played a part in what happened to me.

Identification of the resident isn't relevant. He wasn't responsible.

Identification was merely for logging purposes. Definition of "aura" is insufficient. Probability of further inquiry is high.

Incidents have been known to be caused by unexplained causes before, my lady. In such cases, the only explanations available have been reasoned as the encampment being the cause. My lady's suggestion is not unreasonable given unknown factors involved.

Very well. The individual goes by the name of Minagawa. As for the encampment being responsible for inexplicable things... I have difficulty ascribing to such a notion, but it seems I'm increasingly given evidence to the contrary.
