the thing that should be centered isn't, but logjam has a centering tool (and all sorts of other HTML thingies) so... not a problem. The text flow responds the size of the browser window and there is the proper amount of whitespace between paragraphs.

so, thanks for the idea of using a client to post fic. This'll do.

so, even though I'll have to remember to manually center (and probably manually mark up) things, at least the textflow is natural and the whitespace accurately reflects the type box version.

Now, if only there was a way to make it work for entries I've already posted....
