I just did my first ever friends cut, which feels a little weird, since that's never really been my thing. I didn't cut anyone I know from real life, even if they haven't posted in forever (I know some of you are lurkers), or anyone who still updates regularly (that I can see, at least). And yes. You are right. Though there are... several things related to various sorts of doctors that I also need to see to (long, involved stories), and then the reasons that I haven't gotten around to any of them (see my other post for one of them).

Also, I am going to try to make reunion in May, I think? And Boston shortly after that... This whole "I have been in one state for six months straight" business is starting to creep me out. And I want to see people.

You realize I am going to ask to stay with you, at least for part of the time? Also, are you planning on reunion this year, or do you plan on forgoing it since you will just have finished finals?

(P.S. is it too early to start pleading for a reciprocal trip in either fall 2012 or sometime in 2013?)

Can I stay please? I think we met in real life but it's an ongoing matter of debate over here whether europe is a real place or a tricky rumour spread by the English for nefarious ends.

Tom, I'm quite certain that I didn't cut you. And Sweden is certainly real, even if we're uncertain about Germany. There was quite a feeling of unreality to that overnight train ride.

As long as you're sure, I wouldn't want to be lost to an oversight. I'm glad of your reassurance about Sweden, any land of eternal light where your contact is a hobbit seems somewhat fantastical.

Friends cuts are, at times, necessary. That is the sad truth. I annihilated my flist some time back. No regrets.
