OMG!

amazing improvement in quality of life since yesterday. truly astonishing. because of three things: 1)first speech tournament ever and it was great, 2)ran into a friend from my first week of ODS and found out that he's (finally) out of the closet, and 3)... no, I'll have to build up the suspense on that one.
( you have no idea how fucking incredible I feel )

hehehe, yeah, i love being a speechie. I didn't do an event, and it looks like I'm going to be doing DI, Impromptu, and maybe Poetry, but I don't really have time to prepare a poetry. although I may just do it during the break and have it ready for the tournaments afterwards. I'm really excited about my DI piece, it's nothing like anyone elses, at least in seniors, I feel confident about next weekend.

but I didn't do anything today. I was too afraid to do impromptu and I don't have my DI piece memorized yet, so i just watched with Carolyn. we got a few placers, a few people in finals, it was good. i think like maybe four placed and then like another four got into finals. or something like that. Madison won IEs and overall, but not debate. Our juniors were really good for their (our, i guess) first tournament.
