And because she’s a moody girl, she reserved herself the right to change her mind at any given moment in relation of Sam’s way of treating his brother or abuses his psychic powers to get her point across, that he’s driving her insane with his frantic driving. Well, that's the plot anyway...
So once upon a time I had this song on repeat, it was an enthralling song - fitting for so many of my favourite TV characters, yet it was never perfect for just one fandom. I’m shallow, but not shallow enough to not at least attempt to tell a story. So I listened to other songs, vidded some of them, when inspiration hit like lightening. Still keep coming back to Poe’s ‘Hey Pretty’, still trying to figure out how to make the perspective work on any of my fandoms. This happened to me before with Muse ‘Feeling Good’ and so if I haven’t learned anything in vidding - besides cursing profoundly at my pc - I learned patience and this extended for my very special songs I want to vid so desperately. Some day a new fandom or arc will come along that will allow me to use them merciless to their fullest potential.
So yeah, inspiration hit hard three eps into Supernatural - everything clicked in my head - the solution is so fucking simple, take two pretty boys, one sizzling hot Impala and add the twist of deus ex machina and voilá, you get my most superficial vid up to date work title ‘car p0rn’. I have to confess that I tried to resist the vid bunny that was hopping at the back of my mind over the course of the whole season, till it practical nagged through my skull after watching the finale. I mean, c’mon there’s a fucking enlightening reason why the Impala never felt comfortable with Sam on the steering wheel.
Also there was no reason, I couldn’t do this vid and so I did, even when I knew heading into it that it would become a complete nightmare for me. So yeah, I stalled some more, because sometimes you just know vidding a specific topic like a fucking car will drive you insane and nobody will ‘get’ it. Even when charmax pointed out, that it was accessible and I should continue with the madness, because it was insane enough to be valued as genius from some folks, who would get the gist.
Two things for the record - one I don’t believe her and two it doesn’t mean you curse less.
I’m just so fucking happy this vid is done and I can go back to use emotions instead of trying to create them from score one or suck the mood out of a shiny black piece of metal and its background. Dear god, it’s DONE and I’m in a dangerous state of mind that giving the demon Ani DiFranco’s voice seems reasonable - Fuck! Not going there - okay maybe a vidbit that is done in a day! Because my personal hell is OVER! *does her insane happy dance*
