Today is the first day of Orientation 1 here at UWSP. As I look out my office window, I see cute little families carrying folders and brochures and the brand new high school graduates wearing outfits straight off the mannequins at American Eagle and Hollister. Yay for working orientation!! Our programs start exactly 1 week from today (eeek!). Today was Delivery Day, which means that we got all our publications and folders and and we have this huge room that now looks like a forest of boxes.

ANYWAY.

Aren't the newbies adorable? That is, of course, until they annoy the crap out of you. Or make you want to laugh. lol.

I really enjoy freshmen parents (which is good, because dealing with them is 50% of my job, haha). They always make me giggle.

Also, on a serious note:

I'm so, so sorry to hear about your aunt. *hugs* That must be so difficult for you guys. If there's anything I can do, let me know.

I be you have about a million orientation sessions...our cute little school has 10 throughout the summer. I love wee little newbie freshman!

It seems that they get younger-looking every year. Is that what we looked like four years ago??

Thanks for the hug :)

Our freshman orientation is 2 days, and we have Day 1 Mon-Thurs from June 11- July 18, Aug 7, and Aug 25. (I'd rather not calculate how many that is, lol)

SERIOUSLY they do look younger every year! I bet they look like 1st-graders this year.
