New Orleans leaves me grieving, really. There is no reason to have thousands dead and others stranded in flooded areas. Period. Too little too late. Now we as a country have to pick up the pieces. It won't be enough. Another blow. It's really sad ( Read more... )

when the Mother shows her fury... still, i agree with Bush (*shudders and twitches*) that the federal response was completely unacceptable. there should have been more done. a class five hurricane should have had disaster relief standing by for the very moment they could spring into action. tough, i know, but lives were at stake and now, they are gone. it is truly tragic. i do commend, however, the efforts that are being put into it now ( ... )

He's a handful, I still say you can have him, lol and no I'm not gonna be the nanny! :P

He's actually taking starting school in stride, which is good, even with the bad haircut he got this saturday. I think homework will be our time, although he will be able to do most of it at daycare.

Hee, somehow I don't picture you as a top, babe :P but thanks for thinking about it. ^^

I think that once autumn starts, thinks will pick up, I really hate end of summer, always have.

I know that before school starts it can be very stressful with the unanswered questions that you have. I hope everything turns/ed out well (as I'm sure it probably will). I hate waiting too *hugs*

Hon, if you're up for an rp, I can be of service! While Sebastian would like to get kidnapped soon, I think he can wait a bit longer while I pull out the whips and leather ^_^. Jevan's brother, Sithus, has room in his bed for a human slave. He's been very irritated lately while taking care of his affairs of state. I think his attendants will be looking to go to the slave market soon. Interested? That conversation between Jevan and you was hilarious. I *loved* writing it! I even (kinda) have a good pic for Sithus too. I'll show you later tonight.

Yeah, my knee is jumping at the moment, thinking about how he'll get along in school. I actually took him there today to see which class he would be in and had him memorize the room number. We also did a little tour of the school. I went there over 25 years ago. O_O

Hee, I might take you up on that RP offer, though lately I have been planning more than Rping ^^

yes, he's not a baby, though he is still a bit small for his age. He's a very smart little cookie... (too smart!) so I have every confidence that he'll do well in school.

Aww, don't cry all EMO, you weren't online as much, having fun feeling up those guys at work and teaching the foreign ones what slutty whores are there at work! *evil cackle*

-pats comfortingly- s'ok. not everyone can be as optimistic as me sadly, but that's ok, because without sad people, i'd be bored. -smiles- that was meant to be a joke, just so you know. but yeah, lots of things tend to take precident over simpler things, just because they occur in RL. however, most of the time i'd rather avoid facing reality, just because its far too depressing. ^^ who wants to be dragged down by that shat? not me!

on your personal stuff, congrats on your son, and good luck with whatever happens for the both of you. ^^

and things will get better! because things can only get so bad before they have to get better, and i truly believe there's a smile and the ring of laughter at the end of every hardship or trial. ^^ but perhaps that's just me and my whimsical thinking.
