get your first image, in the layers menu call it "frame1" instead of "background". create a new layer, open up your next image, copy and paste it onto the new layer - rename it "frame2". right click the bit that says "floating selection" and select "anchor layer". repeat until all your images are there.
save as a GIF, the "save as GIF" window will come up - select "loop", set a delay time and "one frame per layer (replace)".
