I will be starting my course on the 7th or 8th of May in Avery Hill, Eltham, South London. I've contacted the accommodation department, but don't yet know if/when they will be able to offer me space. I am hopeful that they will be ok for it

Congratulations on getting on to the course - I know you really have your heart set on it and it's great to see you going for it. :)

I'd love to offer you crash space but there's barely room for yours truly in my house and I'm sure you can find somewhere to stay closer than I am!

On the plus side, the last time I was looking for accommodation, I couldn't get any at the start of the academic year, but was told to check back a week or two into the course as students can drop out very early on and hand back the keys to their on campus rooms... hey presto three weeks into my course I was living on campus rather than a 45 minute train journey away! :)
