I'm back. I've actually been back for a while now, but I have been in forced lurking due persisting tiredness and heaps of work. I may or may not post some photos soon. I really want to because some of the places I managed to get to (a volcano crater -woot!) were amazingly beautiful or, failing that, simply quite cool

2. I firstly didn't understand that this video was from Onion. But yeah, Prague airport has kinda long corridors, that's a fact :)

I still have a couple on my computer, but mostly of me, not of the stunning views that deserve to be shared far more. ;)

I think the level of enjoyment from the video is directly proportional to the number of Kafka's works one has read (not that many in my case, to be honest). But yeah. I can't actually remember what the airport itself was like...

I was wondering, by the way: do you know of any good places on LJ to look for decent userpics? Pirates otC and Doctor who in particular, but anything abstract or otherwise good would be nice too.

Honestly, I haven't read Kafka at all, so I guess some level of enjoyment is lost on me. But sitting for 5 hours in Prague waiting for my connecting flight and finding totally NO enjoyment and fun in thу airport tend to make me remember it is a big and dull place.

Um, my usual way was to go to some fandom community, find people with nice userpics and see in their userinfo where they've taken them from. Although... what kind of abstract do you want?
