if the UUK is going to be used to spread vicious lies about people who are pretty much defenseless, then I'm glad they're down.

i have no clue what happened to the boards. to tell you the truth, thats pretty much why I freaked out and exited the scene when I did. I realized that people in the scene all mostly revolve their lives around drama. Drama, in my book, can usually only complicate things and make them shitty. Usually ruining them also. I began to get caught up in lies and battles between friends and groups of friends and i didnt want to get sucked into all that. so yes, i do believe that if something promotes hapless drama and negativity towards others just as the UUK boards seem to have done, they should be shut down. Although it was a fun place to comment and talk to people and see other views, people in the scene get way too ferocious and corrupted. I would ask for an explanation about the "whole story", but I doubt that anyone who REALLY knows would want to tell it again, probably for the 1 millionth time.
Sorry to those who loved the boards. Maybe there will be less drama and that will equal less problems and less hatred.
