In many ways, that is why I think CNN is worse that Fox News. I think CNN is more reliable and that (in general) it does not push for an ultra specific agenda. But at the same time, the whole shtick of CNN as a network is to be 'The Most Trusted Name In News'. But then, they have people like Nancy Grace that if not right-wing, are all about the flashy headlines, or like Lou Dobbs, who as I've told you about, associates negative American ideas with words, such as always referring to China as 'Communist China

I couldn't agree with you more. It's one of the reasons that I seriously dislike the whole "talking head" format that the news has taken. There was a time, before the 24-hour networks surged in popularity (and funding), when the news would be delivered by actual anchors. Their bias wasn't, in a sense, theirs at all. It was the that of the network or, rather, whoever wrote the text to be fed into the teleprompter. But the anchors themselves were only there to deliver the text in as lucid a fashion possible. You rarely knew these people's names, and it was hardly a glamorous job
