I'm East Coast bound
I'll be going to New York for the first time tomorrow.
I still need to pack.
I still need to finish my training.
I still need to figure out who will pick up on the way back.
I'm still excited though. -
So many new beginnings
I'm trying to wait patiently in my office right now for someone to call me back. One of my former employees who graduated in December is trying to get a job at an Austin TV station. Woo hoo!
It maybe too soon to cry victory yet, but I am almost done with all my major assignments for classes. I was freaking out all week and haven't slept more than four hours each day working on million-page long papers. Recharging
I had submitted a letter of resignation Monday to leave my position as editor in chief. After talks with the director of the school of journalism, the print sequence coordinator and the newspaper adviser, they convinced me to take a week off and think things over ( Read more... ) -
