This is mainly just for my own reference, since I've got a lot of stuff already on the shelf that I meant to read for ages.

These are just the ones I want to get to the most urgently.

Table of Books I should (finally) read this year:

Title - Authoralready on the shelf?did you read this yet?
Monstrous Regiment - Terry PratchettYesno
Richelieu ( Read more... )

I highly approve of your to-read list, and not just the Brust :) (also looking forward to your thoughts on Uprooted, Shards of Honor, and all the Discworlds :)

It's shameful how long some of these books have been in my posession, unread! (I try to review everything I read - on goodreads - but I may repost some of them here. :) )

Can I persuade you to do a When Christ and his Saints Slept buddy read? Because I started it too soon after my school-Facharbeit on Cadfael and was too fed up with Stephen and Maud to enjoy it, so I only made it one-third through it and since then...idk it has been sitting on my shelf, staring at me accusingly.

I thought you gave my copy to me because you loved it! D: *betrayal!*

Yes! We could do a buddy read. :D But I can't promise it'll be a success, given how thick the book is.

I gave it to you because I liked what I had read, but it was just the wrong time for me and the book XD

Yay! I would tentatively suggest any date after mid-February because that's when my exams are over and my mind will be free again for some more complex books XD

March might be better for me, but remind me then, please. :)

Heh, our list of TP yet-to-be-read books is somewhat comparable in quantity, but there is zero overlap, excluding the most recent book, which I haven't bought yet:) Which was the first Pratchett you had read, out of curiosity?

I second the rec for Shards of Honor - it may be the only thing from Vorkosiverse I have read to date, but I liked it a lot!

PS. sorry for zombie commenting - it took me some time to read through the backlog of lj entries:)

Mort was my first Pratchett. :) I hope to get to all of them some day.

Don't worry about it, the entry's only a week old. ^^
