At least this finally answers a long overdue question of mine: Why did the Minister of Magic have to attend Buckbeak's execution? Didn't he have better things to do? Does he just take every excuse to get out of the ministry building because Umbridge is stalking him again (admit it. Umbridge is creepy) ? No! He was there to see that everything went down right, putting the poor animal down, since he's a vet and all. XD
Now I'll be grinning madly for the rest of the day...and when anybody asks why I'll have to tell them 'Because Fudge is a vet' and everybody will think I've finally turned completely mad XD

You know...a few weeks ago I rewatched the OOTP-Scenes with Tennant...and when I read that Hardy plays Fudge I thought that I have to rewatch these secenes again, soon (besides I want to watch 'The Master Blackmailer' soon...to see how Hardy is as creepy, greedy, blackmailing villian...).
And he really looks still so much like Siegfried in some of these caps. It's amazing.

I'm always glad to contribute to somebody's everyday madness. *g*

Tennant is just great, when he does crazy. :) Oh, and I was sooooo disappointed when Hardy wasn't in the scene in the pensieve (wasn't there a young Fudge in the books?). Put the dragon in there too, and I never would have needed to watch another scene. XD

Haven't seen the Master Blackmailer. Not sure I can watch him being a villain, especially a creepy villian. O.o

Oh yes he is...especially in Runaway Bride...he was damn creepy there (and I so wish Crouch Jr. had had more scenes in GOF...not only because you can never have too much DT in a film but because he was so great as madman).

Yeah that also sort of scares me...I mean Siegfried how can he be creepy?...All Creatures might never be the same after that XD (On the other hand I just love the story...so I probably watch it).

Oh and I'm snatching the duck-man icon...and perhaps try to make space for Crouch Jr...

Oooh, how far are you with watching DW now, btw? ^^

Oh, poor you. I'll hope it doesn't spoil ACGAS for you then *g* Maybe RH looks different enough in that role for some detachment. *g*

an yay XD duck man icon = made out of love for HP, ACGAS and Discworld! ^^ Now where did my Siegfried icon go ... XD

You're right! It makes total sense! It's also why he was so goddamned condescending to Harry...HARRY REMINDED HIM OF TRISTAN! Which also explains why he was so bitchy to Hagrid...again, he was reminded of Tristan! Poor bugger was beset by flashbacks! XD

And now I have a reason to watch Prisoner of Azkaban again: INAPPROPRIATE ACGAS JOKES! FTW! :D

YES! XD but Hagrid must have reminded him of Calum, with his love for wild animals (I seem to recall a fox, the badger and an otter! XD ). Poor bugger! Constantly had flashbacks of being a muggle-vet with his arm up a cow. No wonder he ended up so paranoid. ^^

That's why he disappears from the 6th movie! He was all "SCREW THIS, I'M GOING TO THE COUNTRY!" and went off to set up a new practice. XD

Nah.
It's only that JKR had to kill of a MoM and she didn't want Fudge to be the one to sniff it.
And you can tell, that she liked all the work the film crew had with changing his hairstyle... after all the new hairstyle of Scrimgeour WILL be a new challenge compared with Fudges hairs.

Oh after i had some time to think about it, i now believe, that he attended all this small legal matters just to hinder Dumbledore from doing something against it... And in the end to show that he was more powerful than Albus and so the better choice for a minister of magic ( ... )
