I pretty much stick around LJ only for the communities. You're my only friend that ever posts anything anymore (and you're about to stop), but the library_mofo community is still quite active and isn't really replaceable on anything like Facebook or Twitter. I wonder if, once LJ dies off enough, will communities like that migrate to something else? And if so, what?

I've been recommended dreamwidth.org as a LJ-like system without the .... stuff.

I... don't know what in the world is going on with anyone who's not on lj anymore, since I refused to deal with facebook. And I'd be happy to move to DW for real, if only to stop hearing about things that lj is doing that are stupid, except that most of my lj friends have no interest in moving, and lots of them post mainly locked things, so I'd have to come back here anyway.

So, um... I'm sorry you haven't been posting here, too? But since I seem to be in "journal a couple times a month" mode at the moment, I do know what you mean. And maybe I'll actually figure out how to rss feed wherever you go, if that's what you end up deciding on.

I'll be sad to see you go for sure. But I'd like to read any other blogs you start up. It really does seem that LJ is dying a slow death over the last year or so.

I know I never post, but I'm seriously considering leaving lj as well. Not to go anywhere else, but to just leave.

That makes sense from a professionality perspective, but I keep up w/ other people's stuff elsewhere too. Sad, but you know, it makes sense...
