The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant’s a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

What you are saying is correct, i am not invalidating that at any level.
However, the basic assumption that lower castes suffer because of their own laziness is not only incorrect but also insensitive.About this, with all the reservations comming in and promisies of putting everything on a plate , for some of them they think its thier right to get all those things, and who bears the cost of this ppl who pay the taxes, and then these are the ppl who are denied admission despite the efforts they put because of reservation ( ... )

I simply cannot bring myself to believe that. How can some castes be lazier than others? Or have I misunderstood you?
I am not refering to any caste at all... as a matter of fact to think of it... its not even about the poor its just about the ppl who expect things to come to them rather than they make an effor to go and get what they want..
So you don't suppose the government has any role in economic upliftment?
Oh yes.. the govt has the biggest role.. but it should be empowering them ..not crippling them... they do take an effor to empower them.. but somewhere down the line its being taken advantage of and its starting to create a negative impact... i hope u get what i am sayin i might not have the exact words here... (u can realize i am not very good at grammer and putting stuff in writting :P )
