Neal's very emotionless hyper intelligence is so well foiled by Peter’s gut instinct.
I love this juxtaposition and characterization ‘bored interest.’ It sums up Neal’s view on what he’s doing so nicely.
The pacing of the last scene of this chapter was impressive.

It's a relief to hear that I managed to do that. It's always a concern that I don't convey what's going on in my head in a way that makes sense to everybody else. :P
