Instead, I got a rejection letter for a manuscript I sent out over a year ago.

On the other hand, at that point I just kinda had to laugh, so I guess the effect was the same.

Although I realize it's never the same when prompted, the sentiment remains the same: you are one of my favorite people on the planet. And it's a big planet, with not a lot of folks on that 'favorite people on it' list. So there. You are made of win, stardust, and probably some sort of unbearably cute thing I've posted a lol picture of at some point. But only metaphorically, of course (the last one).

Strangely, not as busy as all that. Always at home, applying for jobs online, not hearing back, rinse, repeat. Unfortunately, I'm as broke as they come right now so going out is off the table these days.
