This evening, after her bath, Sarah pooped in her potty. She stood up and was all "Voila!" and gesturing like one of Bob Barker's lovely assistants, as if the teeny little poop was going to be grand prize in the Showcase Showdown

I love your descriptions of Sarah Triumphant. After what was actually not a very happy post altogether, a while ago, I ran around with, "I am awesome, y/y?" running through my head for days.

Also - she can demonstrate to you the defining characteristics on the basis of which she is making her generalization. That is SO COOL.

(By the way, my brother turns out to be a fink: apparently the niecelet, who had been making people a little edgy by clearly having a huge vocabulary of understanding but not actually talking, just started talking a week about two weeks ago, within days having a (mushy and only parentally identifiable, but that's altogether fitting and proper) of more then 50 words within days. Heaven knows when he would have thought to mention it if I hadn't asked about something related. And she has, in fact, mastered the ubiquitous 'Yay!' and something that appears to fill the function of "Tada!" so now she can be awesome y/y, too.)
