I do hope that the threat of swine flu is very low. I know that the government declared a "threat" today, and that does have me worried, especially for my nephews and niece.
I also hope that it does not reach your area and that you will all be safe.
Well, it looks like this particular strain isn't easily transmissible through casual contact. The exposure has to be prolonged. It's still safe to ride the subway and go to restaurants.
The part that is more worrisome is that viruses tend to mutate after they've been in the population for some time. The question to my mind is, what kind of flu are we looking at after it's been around the block a few times.
The only answer I can come up with so far is, probably not anything particularly worrisome.
