Today was not a good body day. First, I went to the mall to get some jeans. I love the Lane Bryant Right Fit Yellows, because they're made for people shaped like me--i.e. straight up and down and without discernable ass. They're comfy, I don't have a saggy ass, all is good with the world ( Read more... )

I am giggling about Sarah. Kids say weird shit, sometimes.

Why on earth would clothing shoppes think it is okay for a woman to modify her BODY to fit CLOTHES?!? They do not put men through such madness. Feh.

Sarah honey, you are adorable but that was the WRONG time to say something like that!

Good GODS, Lane Bryant. I wonder if it'd help to write a letter to Corporate asking if they really have dropped that line or not? Not that I'm defending the idiot salesperson, but if she's that poor in CS skills then she probably has no clue what lines they carry or don't carry if it's not in the store.

Our Lane Bryants are all over the map, service-wise. Around here you can get a salesperson that's superb, and in another she'll consider you an annoying interruption to her hanging-out-with-friends.

I haven't shopped there in a long time, but that's mostly because their way of having work-suitable blouses make you look stylishly slender is to have a deep-v neckline or a scoop that shoes of acres of upper bosom. I don't like those, I'm a collar type of gal.

I've found that Macy's has some nice blouses that are more in my line. But LB is where the jeans have come from, except for brief JCP forays. About time to get some more.

:o(

Should I feel bad that I laughed at the prosthetic ass bit?

That sucks, I hate whenever you can't get the size or fit you need in store and they want you to have to order something that you can't try on.
