Sarah and I had a bad morning. I couldn't sleep well because I had an annoying coughing thing going on and Sarah woke up at 6:30 this morning, which is a good 90 minutes early. Then she had a tantrum in the shower because she didn't want to get out. I reached in to get her, and she squirmed away

Look you did what you needed to do to keep your sanity, it's not like you hit her or something. She needed to get the rest of her sleep. Don't feel bad, we've all been there.

I concur. Having to raise your voice is unpleasant, but I think you did what you needed to do, and it's definitely preferable to, say, whapping her. (Not a parent here, so I may not know what I'm talking about, but, eh... of course, I'm the kind of person who feels guilty for just yelling at my cats.)
