Year-round charitable giving is a wonderful thing. It is something I enjoyed when I was working, and it is something I will enjoy doing when I am working, again. I'm glad you are thinking of doing the same.
I think it's very noble and considerate of you to do these things. That's one of the main things we want Brooklynn to learn is compassion for her fellow human being and to want to help people who need it. If I could afford it I would do all of those things and I think it's fantastic that you do do those things. Just seeing this post makes me realize how much more I need to do for others. I made sure to buy some gifts and clothes for my godson when I found out that he was only going to have one gift under the tree and while they aren't impoverished, I know how much it hurts them to not be able to give him more.
