For Argument's Sake....

Alright! So here I am again, I find myself at school waiting this time for my pal to get out of class. My internet connection has gone wonky here for some reason, and I figure I have Microsoft Word, so I can at least type out a Random Rambling on here and copy-paste it to LJ once my network adapter stops being temperamental. It worked fine ( Read more... )

This is just a test, first off; I'm just hoping that this works..!
Secondly, thank you for plugging me. I hope that things go well on our respective sites. And BY THE WAY, I didn't want to get the same thing as you because mine would be better.

Your rants are always interesting; too bad that Grandma couldn't handle the conversation like an intelligent adult, huh?
With all the mentions of the 'good side', i.e. your Gods and Angels, how about the other side. There is the Devil/Satan and all of his lackeys (The Fly Prince, Baal and so on) for Christianity...what equals do any of the other sides have? Greece and Rome have the equal Hades/Pluto, no? What do the Egyptians have? Surely Set(h) would count, but he is a strong arm on Re's morning barge across the sky. Is there really an equivalent for each religion?

.___.
I love how I am into this more than my homework.

<3
Anyways, reply soon, Morsel.

Evidently it worked indeed! I will have to slide by Tumblr and see if I can leave you an anonymous post or two as well to repay the love ( ... )

Quite cool of this little anonymous messaging deal here..

And I did honestly forget about Apep, lol
And the mention of asking 'nice' as well as 'evil' (negative, dark, mischief, etc.) Gods to remove or increase love, luck, or what have you. When I was "exposed" if you will, to the bit of Voodoo practices, there are a lot of Gods and spirits that you can call on.

What will your next rant be on, I wonder..?

Rant? Really? *chuckles* This is not a rant, it's an observational discussion...

It is interesting that you an call on either side of the spectrum as you desire, just be careful what doors you open. You may be led through a maelstrom of traps and pitfalls if you choose the wrong door. Not exactly the calculated risk I want to take personally.

I do love the fact that not all of the religions do have an 'evil twin' syndrome. Most do, but not all. Most do have the dark/light theme with the idea that where you have the positive forces that want to help you, you have in like, the inverse tricksters that may not have your best interests in mind. They are not necessarily evil, but certainly not necessarily your allies either. Some bypass this notion all together and simply hold that your trials are spiritual and earthly trials that require strength of mind and spirit to overcome. I absolutely love this stuff! It is endlessly fascinating and so much fun to delve into!

I fully agree with the stroll in the park. I do so enjoy those. They are the best way to collect one's thoughts, aside from selecting a nice clearing in a wooded area somewhere, preferably by the water, but without works fine too. Sometimes even the backyard does just fine, so long as it is simply outdoors! Oh look at that, I have somewhat gone astray, here...back on topic, I prefer the civilized Halloween party idea myself. The whole spook the neighbors thing was fun for a while, but it really has gotten old. Even so, I did enjoy working the haunted trail at the local fun park when it was open, but sadly they did close down. Even still, they killed the creative license we had as actors when they began dumbing down the freedoms we had to work with in certain scenes like the maze. The no noise thing was ridiculous. I couldn't get past that. It made the whole scene a dead zone. Without any sound effects, and coupled with the already poor lighting, it was just a sad scene. I much preferred the other two years I worked it. THOSE were fun ( ... )

Well, that is the worst punishment for an actor--no acting!

The first year that I did that, it was okay, and I had to sort of get the feel of what I wanted to do. The next year was quite the disappointment, I would sadly have to admit. The dead spots were quite irritating, and being restricted to sharing scenes with children that could not act was very tiring.
Perhaps, if there are any parties this year we would attend..if not, then enjoying the waterfront with you would be ideal...

The children that REFUSED to take it seriously was particularly annoying. The lack of talent is something kind of to be expected on a volunteer basis, but when you VOLUNTEER to do a benefit function like that was, you should at least take it seriously like the rest of the team does.

Good point! If we cannot find any decent parties to go to, then the waterfront should do just fine. We can get some coffees and just enjoy the night and the mysticism that goes with it.

That is true, and perhaps I was only being a bit arrogant when I mentioned that. I did not take formal acing lessons or anything of the sort, so I am probably wrong for saying such things.

Enjoying the night is more than likely what I would rather do, anyway. The mix of energy from a crowd would become overwhelming after a while, and the water would be a nice get away from the stir at home.
