Dear Yuletide Santa
Dear Yuletide Writer,
Apologies for this being so late (hopefully not too late!) but it’s been a crazy month. Here are some basic likes, dislikes, and a little bit more about the various prompts. Hopefully one of them works well for you!
I realize that these are very disparate fandoms, so apologies if you’re stuck writing one of them just because it matched your offers. I am grateful for anything I receive so don’t be stressed out. I’ll put my likes and dislikes, although I’m not sure how much of these relate to the prompts I’ve requested.
What I Dislike in General: non-con (dub-con makes me a little nervous too if it’s not in character behavior), high school AU, overly fluffy at the expense of original characterization, porn without plot, purple prose
What I Like in General: canon details (the author showing that they know the universe and its characters), dialogue that matches the source material, humor, angst, friendship fic, the mundane aspects of every day life, suspense
So really, not sure how any of that applies. But that’s just me. I’ll post the prompts again as I’ve written them. The only additional notes I have: I put 4 characters for Majo Saiban, and I realize that might be a little daunting. If that is the fandom you choose, do not feel like you need to include all 4 - I would like the story to focus on Toru and Izumi.
Also, do not feel limited to the two characters I’ve listed in the other prompts. While I’d like those characters to be the central focus, don’t hesitate to include others as it fits the story you’re creating. Again, I’m happy if any of these get written whether you use my prompt or not. I just appreciate your effort.
Persona 4
Chie Satonaka/Yosuke Hanamura
Realizing they’re kind of sweet on each other, the beginnings of an awkward relationship. Can take place any time during or post game and include any other characters you wish.
Majo Saiban (tv)
Kurokawa Ryuichi/Motomiya Kaori/Watabe Izumi - White/Yoshioka Toru - Orange
Prefer the beginnings of a romantic relationship between Izumi (White) and Toru (Orange) and would prefer post-series. Dealing with the fallout of the trial, potential breakdown of Izumi’s marriage, Toru’s relationship with Kaori. I’d prefer complicated and messy - not just them shacking up.
Long Love Letter
Asami Akio/Misaki Yuka
Preferably their relationship during the last few episodes or post-series. Angsty is fine, worrying about the students, trying to hold onto hope that they’ll return to 2002. A relationship on equal footing/mutual respect.
FlashForward
Demetri Noh/Janis Hawk
Friendship fic any time before/during the series. Complaining about workload, co-workers, anything is fine.
