Good morning, Upper East Siders. I trust you’ve made it to Fashion Week with your couture intact? Juicy bit of news from me to you - the Queen Bee of Constance is in a tizzy. It starts with a Brook and ends with a -lyn, and it’s threatening to ruin his perfect event. But will the Queen Bee’s king be able to save the day?

Only the true gossip hounds will know for sure. XOXO.

“No way,” Jun complained, going through his closet again and again. The Constance fashion show was that very afternoon, and the Prada suit had a smudge on the jacket. What the hell was he paying the dry cleaners for anyhow? It was a last minute rummaging. “I’m not stepping out of this penthouse until I’m in Prada.”

Aiba adjusted his maid cap and handed Jun another suit. “How about this one, Mr. Jun?”

Jun rolled his eyes. “So last season.”

“Ah, aren’t you supposed to be at school?”

Jun turned to see Nino had let himself in. Aiba gave Nino a nod and departed. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be doing card tricks for some skanky model?”

Nino smiled. “The real trick is when I get them to search for my ace of clubs.”

“Ugh, get out,” Jun complained, finally settling on a Louis Vuitton ensemble. That grouchy, judgy Sakurai, the oh-so-tortured writer wannabe from Brooklyn had somehow gotten himself into the fashion show. There was no way Jun was going to let him win.

Nino adjusted his bow tie and held up a Queen of Hearts as he wrapped his other arm around Jun’s shoulders. “Worried that Brooklyn trash is going to pull an upset out of his clumsy ass?”

“Worried? Me?” Jun scoffed as he shoved Nino away and changed into his LV. “Get real.”

“Limo’s waiting downstairs as soon as you figure out your…accessories.” Nino gave him a slap on the ass before leaving. Jun blushed. Damn him. He got his suit in order, adding a necklace here, a few rings there.

They made it to Constance with plenty of time to spare. Sakurai was in Prada - obviously Satoshi van der Woodsen had let him borrow one of his outfits. Jun tried not to be too upset - Satoshi tried to be everyone’s friend, at least when he wasn’t out partying at clubs.

“Hello Waldorf,” Sakurai said, putting away his book of Ginsberg poems. Poser.

“Sakurai.”

“Didn’t think I’d get picked for the show, huh?”

Jun wanted to wipe that smarmy look off of the guy’s face, but he didn’t need blood getting stuck in the eyes of his skull ring. He had to stay focused. “Jury of our peers. Do you really think they’ll vote you best dressed? I bet your socks aren’t even matched.”

Nino arrived then, wrapping a possessive arm around Jun’s middle. “Look what the subway dragged in. Cut your wrists lately, Brooklyn?”

“You’re a real asshole, you know that, Bass?”

Nino just shrugged. “I’m going to take my seat. May the best diva win.”

Jun adjusted his collar and gave Sakurai one final smile. “Ladies first.”

The principal started announcing names for the catwalk. Jun watched through the curtain as the audience clapped. Sakurai emerged with that arrogant look he always had on his face, as if he was above everything. Nino was seated at the middle of the catwalk, engrossed in his diamond-encrusted DS.

Sakurai was too busy trying to look straight ahead that he didn’t notice Nino prop his leg up on the catwalk until it was too late. Brooklyn and his borrowed Prada suit went flying, and Jun’s wildest dream had come true. There was no way he could lose now!

The crowd was laughing at Sakurai’s misfortune - and that was when Jun decided to emerge. Cameras snapped as Sakurai slunk off stage and Jun made the catwalk his bitch. Nino didn’t even look up from his DS as Jun walked past, but the devilish smirk on his face told Jun all he needed to know.

Chalk one up for the silver spoons of the Upper East Side.
