WOW .. that's slightly ridiculous of the manager to have talked to you that way. Was he the owner of the store? If not then I would call and speak to the owner and tell him exactly what's going on!

As a small business owner myself, I'm...stunned. He must have an amazing trust fund or SOMEthing going on...clearly he doesn't need to stay in business!

Yes, it's completely incomprehensible to me as well. And from my point of view, he neither deserves to stay in business, nor is he likely to.
