X-Men, the second

Saw X-Men: Days of Future Past again and liked it a lot more than the first time around. Which is strange for me. But I think after letting go of some expectations I had for the movie, I could enjoy it for what it was. Also in retrospect I really like that First Class was more Erik`s movie while this one was more Charles`. That leaves room for

Did you write up a review previously saying what you didn't like about the movie the first time? Anyway, I haven't seen it. Glad you enjoyed it the second time around.

I did one here but in retrospect I think I expected of this movie what the next one is gonna be like.

I was all focused on the Charles-and-Erik have to work together again and figured it would be kinda like Thor/Loki in the Dark World. But the uniting-against-a-common-enemy thing will probably happen in Apocalypse.

I should probably start from the beginning and re-watch the other movies before seeing this.

I think it works if you are roughly familiar with the X-Men universe (like know who Professor X, Magneto, Wolverine and Mystique are) and watch First Class. But at least X-Men 1 and 2 are always worth a rewatch IMO.
