Popcorn 2012.12.16 Tokyo report
Today was obviously the best day so far <3
Before the concert I met with yarukizero, and it felt great to talk with another Arashi fan <3 We parted in front of the gates, and I went to take pictures again of the Popcorn cart. I think I waited like 15 minutes to get to the front line, it was that crazy…
I entered the dome around 5 pm, got to my place, and my friend came in around 5:45. Actually two seats beside my friend, a Japanese woman also had a French uchiwa like us !! Probability of having another French fan next to us ? Beats the odds x) The fans next to me were also impressed we were French and we talked a bit ~ ^^ It doesn’t happen much, even though people do notice my French uchiwa, so I was happy x)
Also, on the right side of my block, there were three big cameras (there were four blocs in-between each set of cameras all around the third floor), so I hope we’ll at least get the third encore on DVD >< (Unfortunately the MC is asking for too much from JE…)
As usual, a few things before the actual report :
-There are most likely mistakes, because I don't take notes and my memory is far from perfect... And it also means it’s not a very detailed report, sorry ^^" (I only added stuff that weren’t in my Osaka, Sapporo and Tokyo 12.15 reports) Also, I still have a long way to go in studying Japanese, so I may have I misunderstood some stuff.
-English isn't my native language, so pardon any English mistake !
-A million thanks to yarukizero an amnosxmatsujun for their reports <3 I didn’t detail much the MC and the thank you speeches since they have already done so well !
Random thoughts on the concert
-I was surprised how well we see everywhere in Tokyo Dome, even on the third floor !
-We heard the loud backstage cheer from Arashi, the Juniors and the staff <3
-Mics problems again, with sounds problem as well (it was too loud for Aiba’s solo and another song around the Tabi wa tsuzuku yo-Lucky Man part)
-It was awesomely fun, really <3 The audience was at 200% !! Yesterday had been very good as well, but this time, you could feel that the audience couldn’t have been any better. I myself was at 200% ~ You get even more carried away when people around you are as hyped as you ^^ And normally I can shout loudly during the whole concert without getting tired, but today, I felt more than usual my limits x) Well, today was so special, one couldn’t be at their maximum tension =)
-Unlike yesterday night, I didn’t remember that much things that stood out compared to other nights… I was enjoying myself so much and living the concert to its fullest that I wasn’t focusing that much on remembering things for this report. >< I did try but I forgot… Why every time I get carried with my emotions, my memory fails me ? T_T Anyway, I’m really sorry for not putting that many details about Aiba’s birthday ><

The video starts with a picture of the sky, the popcorn factory being on a cloud x) The music used for that video is very lively, and it’s really fun to start waving the penlight to its rhythm ! ^^
Up to you
I just realized I haven’t written it somewhere : after appearing in their boxes, they get down the stairs, and line up behind Ohno. As the music begins, the members take turns making a circle with their arms, starting with Oh-chan of course.
Tonight, we got a Juntoshi moment ! =D They just got really close to each other, but of course that made us scream ~ And instead of singing his line, Nino shouted something like “Last dazo Tokyo !”.
I saw their jutted out jaws pose tonight ! x) I think every member did it ~
Welcome to our party
At the “tonari no hito to mo high touch”, on the right side of the moving stage Ohno and Nino locked their arms together, and Aiba and Jun highed five each other and kept a position like an A =) (I only saw the end of their movement so I may have missed something else)

On the screens, the image of the member shown is duplicated and flashes past with different effects ~

The usual, with mentions of today being the last day, so they asked us to get even more hyped ^^

A Day in Our Life
The usual Juntoshi moment : Jun and Ohno brushed each other’s face, then they rubbed their foreheads against each other (they were SO CLOSE), and then Jun pushed Oh-chan’s face, who had an expression like he had been hit by thunder x)
Besides, Ohno played again with the left moving sidewalk, making it so he was still on it, or walking backwards ~

They talked about the Rola impersonation (“(something) to omotta n da”) Nino and Aiba did on the last Last mission from Himitsu no Arashi-chan, and searched for the five impersonations they had to do. They forgot Ikko, so the audience shouted it for them, and I was impressed so many people said it so clearly ~
Then the four members left Aiba on the center stage to make him do the five impersonations in one go, like in the punishment game he had received on Himitsu. It’s funny because it seemed obvious to us that they were doing that on purpose for his birthday celebration, but he took a long time to realize that XD Even after the members had reached the main stage, he realized only when their tone and expressions changed. Jun mentioned Satoshi no kioku, Sho’s T.A.B.O.O, and announced Friendship for Aiba-chan’s 30th birthday =) <3
The video started with a black screen where “1982.12.24 Aiba Masaki” was written, and then there were pics of him from his childhood to now, followed by pics with the members as well. The last pic was the five of them on a deserted road, it’s a kinda old photo and I know I’ve seen it somewhere several times, but I don’t remember the exact magazine (well, I guess it was in a mag). On the screens there were also the lyrics of the song the members were currently singing. They had come out with the red gloves ! =)
Aiba was getting emotional right from the start, and I have to admit, the same goes for me… He really started crying with Nino’s letter though (the third one, after Ohno’s and Sho’s), at the part when Nino says they spent half of their lives together, and that the only persons Nino spent more than 15 years together are his family and Aiba-chan. This was really emotional.
After Jun’s letter (where he cried again and had to wipe them with his towel), the members came out in awesome outfits ! We laughed and cheered so hard at them XD Jun was a cook and had a big wok in hand, while the other three wore Chinese dresses with long slits, each dress in their member color. They went to the center stage on the moving stage, and Aiba mentioned how these outfits were actually not like what was worn in Aiba’s family restaurant haha They also talked about how Sho’s dress had shorter sleeves, and Sho said it was a sexy version of the dress XD
Jun then gave to Aiba-chan the DVD of the video we had just seen, and the cover was so cute ! It was gyoza men instead of popcorn men hahahahaha
Afterwards they presented the cake, which had a huge pile of strawberries on it ! Like they said, it was like a wedding cake lol Then Jun tried to take a picture of the members with the cake (why didn’t you think of being on it as well Jun ??), and luckily Sho interrupted him and they asked a staff to take the picture instead.
Then the band started playing happy birthday, and we sang it for Aiba-chan ~ He talked afterwards, but Ohmiya wasn’t paying attention as they were conversing about their dresses XD Nino kinda had breasts, it was very funny x)
They went back to the main stage on the moving stage, and Sho spread his legs wide open for the arena underneath hahaha
We got the usual promotions (albeit introduced only shortly), and the second part of the concert started =)

At some point, when Nino was in the middle of the left side walkway coming out from the center stage, he pushed the Juniors around him haha (It’s not the first time actually, he did it yesterday as well, but I don’t know about other venues and dates)

For Oh-chan’s long note, I really like the effect of the arch’s white lights ! They go from down position to the up one quickly, sweeping across the center of the dome.

We got triple fan service, and something was slightly different from yesterday but I can’t remember it correctly… T_T I think it was Ohno’s reaction after Jun finished his line, and I don’t have the feeling Jun and Aiba put arms around each other, even if we did get a fanservice from them.

Aiba was the last member we could see before the doors closed, and he looked at the camera while pointed his index towards us.

Jun said again that he was able to get energy from direct communication with us, seeing our faces, etc. =) Nino also talked about direct communication, the fact that they did Tokyo for four days for the first time, etc. Aiba said “houtou ni hontou ni (he really stressed it ^_^) arigatou”, and Jun picked on him, because his speech was like it was Aiba’s concert, not Arashi’s one lol “Anata no concert ja nai” x) In his speech, Sho congratulated us for helping making the kind of atmosphere tonight had been, and we laughed at his unexpected “omedetou gozaimasu” haha After all the speeches, they asked Aiba to introduce the next song, and he was surprised because he rarely gets to do that =)

Before going backstage, Aiba asked us to be careful on our way home; and Oh-chan told us thank you in a voice that made us laugh ~
Triple encore
The majority of the crowd didn’t move (people were not rushing to gather their stuff and leave, which normally happens right after the stage lights go out), and we started calling for Arashi. My friend and I started to get expectations for a triple encore, which we hadn’t thought would happen, AND THEY CAME BACK !!!
A.RA.SHI
They started right away with it. When they appeared, Aiba grabbed a green confetti and tied it around his head, he was so cute with it ! <3
It felt awesome to have A.RA.SHI in the concert, and everyone was super hyped ! =D I was so happy we got it ~
The concert ended around 9:15. It was so special and so awesome !!
I’m getting sad the end of the tour is coming soon though… I spent a whole month seeing Arashi every two weeks, will see them again in one month for the last day in Nagoya (and maybe a glimpse of them in the Johnny’s Countdown if we’re supra lucky ?), and then nothing T_T I wish Nagoya would come quickly, but then again, I don’t want it to pass… The usual dilemma ^^"
Well, in any case, I can’t wait for Nagoya ! It’s gonna be a blast !
