Two ounces of vodka absorbed that way won't get you any more plastered than the same two ounces drunk in the usual fashion. Both will show up on a breathalyzer -- it's the alcohol in your bloodstream the test is measuring, not how it got there.

Why would anyone roll their own? Perhaps because they've been caught without one when it's needed. And perhaps as well because they were raised in a very conservative community, and consequently re-invented the tampon on their own because no one ever mentioned that the things already existed and could be bought in stores.

Can you really not imagine any circumstances in which knowing how to roll your own might be useful?
