O Christmas Tree...
We found a tree at Michael's that was pre-lit, hinged, rather than having to be put together piece by menacing piece, and under $150. Bonus: it's even pretty. Eating food and words
I know I mentioned once that the novelty of weight loss would wear off, and maybe it will. But today was big. I have lost just over 20 pounds. Two more pounds, and I'll have lost Alex. Gym again this afternoon. I burned through 260-something calories in 50 minutes on the bike. And so far, I'm doing pretty good at going 4-5 times a week. I need to find a water aerobics class that will fit into this week's schedule. I'm definitely ready for the ( Read more... ) -

It was all about how Chicago's big shopping hoopla (some German thing...Sara, Diana, Valerie?) has un-sponsored New Line Cinema because they are the company releasing The Nativity this month. Yeah...all that excitement I felt yesterday about going to the gym? It's now pain. Ow. And a slight amount of discouragement. We had our "free session with a trainer" today, and while I recognize their expertise, I'm not sure that's the route for me. Waiting for the bathroom to be empty
Jen's up taking a shower in the only bathroom in the house that has a normal bath tub (mom's has a huge jetted one that's a bit large for the boys), so I'm just waiting for her to be done so we can bathe the kids. Then it's dressed, nap time for Alex, and then we'll head up to Taylorsville to hear Jen talk about her mission in church. Yipee.

Seriously, this new bleu cheese dressing I made? I would pour it over ice cream if ice cream weren't a gazillion points. I have had three salads in the last 24 hours. Just so I'd have an excuse to eat more dressing. I am in bleu cheese smit ( Read more... )
