CHARACTER INFO
Character name: Michelle
Fandom: Infinite Undiscovery
Point in canon taken from: Just before they walk up the Ebony Chain.
Personality: At first, Michelle looks to be a fairly simple character. Her absent nature and rather curvaceous figure could easily lead someone to simply write her off as a 'bimbo' and underestimate or ignore her. However, Michelle is a rather intelligent and kind person. If one takes the time to get her to know her, they'll see she's far deeper than stereotypes would imply (whether they be of her homeland or those of her general appearance) and under her smile she's hiding far greater thoughts. A woman who wants to heal the world, she seeks to use her powers to benefit everyone: no matter who they are or what harm it poses to herself. Her nature rather impulsive, which leads her to act before she thinks. Whether this is to save someone or simply to see someone or do something she wants to do, Michelle leaps before she looks.

Of course, with a habit like that, it's easy to tell that while Michelle is self-sacrificing, she is not unselfish. When it came to Sigmund, Michelle held on for dear life (when hugging Capell when she had them mixed up, at least) and did not let go no matter how hard anyone tried to seperate them (insisting that she thought he looked 'pretty comfortable to her.'). When Sigmund did show up, she simply shoved Capell aside and ran off into his arms. She doesn't do well with orders (as she had to be 'discreetly left behind' due to an unnamed incident) but follows when someone she trusts gives them.

Her mental and emotional strength are to be admired. Michelle takes terrible news as best she can, keeping a smile on her face as she comes to terms with it. Part of this, however, can be considered a fault as she doesn't say when something is truly bothering her or reveal too much of what upsets her to others. Her past is something she does not like to talk about due to it's tragic nature, and she also seems to believe that if people were to find out about it, she'd be left behind again. If you talk to her in Kolton, she reveals that she's never felt that she really belonged anywhere until she began traveling with Sigmund.

Michelle is also rather flirtatious. She doesn't mind making reference to her womanly attributes, nor does she mind terribly when other people make comments about it (stating that she should wear 'nothing at all pleases her in one instance, 'a girl's got to keep her secrets'). She likes contact and hugs people when moved (and doesn't really seem to get go until she wants to, which doesn't seem to bother the one being hugged). She's very open about her affection and happiness, and wants to see others smile.

She's also known to tease people she doesn't like - this teasing may border on snark, but because of her vague tone and constant smiles, it's very hard to know when she's being serious or not.

Michelle is a very powerful magician. Her spells can kill you dead or bring you back from the brink, and she'll still have more than enough power to tend to anyone else whose in need of it. Her lunaglyph is one of healing and she uses it to the very best of her ability, healing anyone and everyone she can. She's also rather gifted in creating creative potions - perhaps to the dismay of some of her companions.

She has a very compassionate heart and a bright outlook on things, always willing to help others and put their priorities above her own. She's incredibly strong-willed and doesn't let even the most terrible tragedies of her life affect her outwardly. She doesn't dwell on the past, but even if she does, she does her best to keep smiling and moving towards the future. Her attitude may sometimes seem a bit odd - and she may act absentminded when not faced with dire situations - but she's a dependable person and a friend for life.

Michelle's also surprisingly perceptive. Though she acts as an air-head and often forgets things and believes the good in people until the end, she's able to note things about others that people may not immediately pick up on.

Another thing to note, as many people can probably appreciate, Michelle is definitely attractive. She knows this and, to some degree, flaunts it. This isn't to say she's loose or anything, but her clothes are certainly rather revealing.

It's easy to assume that Michelle is not all there. In fact, she may well not be when one considers how quick she is to think before she has a chance to think things through properly. Even if she has the wellness of others in mind, her own lack of self-concern is certainly not really an admirable trait and should be something to be concerned about in battle. She's rather impulsive, with a policy close to 'leaping before she looks', which can easily cause her teammates and others trouble (and may well be why she was left behind).

Along with this, if going by in-game stats, she's not really physically strong. She cannot take too much damage and falls when unprotected fairly quickly. And, when in Lunar Rain (as with most of the cast) she transforms into a monster who seeks only to destroy all those around it.

If one listens to her ramblings while entering into the vermified state, some insight in to her darker side is also given. Michelle has a deep fear of being left along. When in this state, with her daker nature in control, "just leave me alone!", "We're all all alone in the end!", and "I don't need you!"
History: Michelle's history is all a very sad, sad affair. Her parents were Aristos, a type of being who has been graced with a long lifespan, great power, but lacks emotions. She lived in the snowy land of Kolton - a placed renowned for it's cold and humorless people and it's robotic Aristos. Her parents, perhaps a little more emotional than most, kept in contact with their friends in a country (Halgita) during a war despite repeatedly being told to stay away. As a result, they were both executed in cold blood.

Michelle, young as she was, left Kolton as soon as she was old enough. From then on, she spent much time drifting around. Never feeling like she really belonged anywhere. She cried often and was often left behind, finding herself wandering one place to another in search of a 'place to belong'. She found this at Sigmund the Liberator's side - he instructed her not cry and gave her faith in herself and the ability to smile. Her love for him grew so much it eventually began to hinder the group, and as such, she was 'discreetly' left behind in Halgita.

However, like the cat that comes back, she found her way back to the group in Burgusstadt. There she mistook Capell the Soother for Sigmund and embraced him tightly, refusing to let go as she believed him Sigmund. When the real Sigmund showed up, she shoved him aside and ran to embrace him. Shortly thereafter, the two of them talk and she learns of Capell's sad past - which perhaps reminds her of her own loneliness - and immediately offers to become his big sister.

Together, the group travels far. Their goal is to shatter the chains binding the moon to the earth. Things go well for a while, however after a vicious battle against Leonid the Dreadknight, Sigmund falls and dies at the hands of the beast. Capell begins to dress as their leader due to their strong resemblance and they continue much of the journey with the world believing that Sigmund the Liberator is still alive.

Though all of this, Michelle stands unflinchingly by Capell's side. When the world finds out who he is, she doesn't sway and keeps there. She doesn't even falter when the truth about his identity is found out, or when the group realizes that they have to travel to the moon to settle everything once and for all.
