If I only had a brain...

So I went to bed around 12 a.m. yesterday then lay in bed for 4 hrs. Finally fell asleep and had to wake up at 8 to get to church in order to run sound with Ben and Mr. Schoppet.

Sound system ranting )

Evidently I belive women are inferior to men. At least that's what they tell me. I still haven't quite seen how what I say matches up to that. The whole equality thing is stupid if you ask me. Men and Women are given 2 completely different roles. It's like comparing peanut butter to a processor. 2 different things.
I believe the chauvenism mostly comes from my statement that I think women should be held to the same standards for army entrance as men are. Forgive if me if I offend anyone but how does 2 seperate standards benefit the whole equality thing? If I were to join the army I would want to know the person in the foxhole next to me was just as trained and physically fit as I was. Beyond that, It's my personal idea of the whole traditional household thing that got me in the most trouble. Also anytime you speak of women in the house and men going to work people seem to think you are saying that the women have it easier.

The arrogance, well, that parts true :-)

ha.. most men (not to offend anyone) are a lil arrogant; it's how ya'll were wired (and I can say that I live with enough of them and are mostly friends with just guys). But on the other hand, the thing for the entrance exam for women, we've actually discussed this extensively in a class at school, and I must agree with you. Women are held to different standard with entrance exams, and I can see where you're tryin to go with being the same out in combat. But are ya sayin with the last sentence, that women should soley do housework and not have a career?

I believe in the traditional marriage idea. The woman stays at home and the man provides for his family. I'm not like religiously adament about it though. Just seems to me that's the way things work best. However, I do believe women should have an education so it's not as if I'm saying they should just forget about college and be put in home ec classes for years.
The whole not having a career thing is sort of different in different situations to me. If they have no kids I see no problem in both adults working, if they need the money then I can understand why they both need to work, but personally I would rather have my wife at home with my kids than have them by themselves or put in the charge of increasingly liberal and anti-christian after-school programs.
Note: This is mostly younger children but applies somewhat to older ones too.
