Remixification!
remixthedrabble stories are up! I got two really cool remixes: "Language Sex Violence Other (DNA Remix)" by amathela, a remix of my Jool-and-Aeryn Farscape story, "Learning Experiences", which I think is decidedly better than the original. And "Tongue-Tied (Resurrection Remix)" by kernezelda, a wonderfully creepy companion piece to my icky Torchwood zombie story, "Fairy-Tale Ending".
I only wrote one remix, myself, although I was tempted to sign up for more. Might as well repost it here, too. For the second time, I've turned a happy, fluffy story into something angsty. Which probably tells you something about me.

The alien they're hunting isn't in the sweet shop, after all, but something else catches the Doctor's eye.
"Jelly babies!" he breathes. The colorful jumble of friendly shapes brings back memories, of sweetness and youth, of a hundred hopeful first meetings. And then of one in particular: They say the Evil One eats babies!
It was funny then, Leela calling him "Evil One." Somehow it isn't any more.
"What's important about jelly babies?" asks Rose.
"Nothing," he answers quietly. "Nothing, really."
He buys a bag anyway, unable to help himself. But, as he expected, they don't taste remotely the same.
